In 1987 Deborah published (through traditional channels) a comedy romance, THE UNWILLING HEIRESS, which was chosen as a Best Book by the American Bookseller's Association. Soon after, she discovered health information that changed her life and sent her on a long search for answers. Now, 20 years later, she has self published a self-help manual for those with psychiatric disorders. IS THERE ROOM FOR ME, TOO? 12 Steps and 12 Strategies for Coping with Mental Illness, was self-published at Createspace.com and is now available at Amazon.com and other venues. Deborah also writes poetry under the pseudonym Debralee Pagan, and edits a local poetry newsletter in the East San Francisco Bay Area.
